Been getting a lot of this today from the mersenneforum.org server.

When my crappy slow internet lets anything through, that is. Come on, fiber! Maybe by yearend.

When the (shared) server that the forum is hosted on exceeds a load average of 32, the forum software is configured to shut down.

This shouldn't happen very often.

I've seen it from time to time over the past couple months, too.

A high load average isn't bad if there are lots of CPUs in the system.

Same here.

It won't be a function of where you're located; it's a server-side issue. When it's happening, everyone will experience it.

Mike /might/ want to bring this issue up with the provider. If it isn't a DoS against the forum, another client on the same machine is impacting him.
