Is there a way to tell Prime95 (on just one of my computers) to continue the current work to completion but not to accept any more assignments afterwards?
I guess I can wait until it's done then cancel and unreserve the exponents, but that's a round-about way. I assume there's some setting somewhere that tells it to stop when done with the current work? |

Put NoMoreWork=1 into prime.txt (be sure to exit Prime95 before editing the file). (It won't unreserve any assignments you have acquired but not started, but it will prevent any further acquisitions.) I have made frequent use of this option as I switch back and forth between GIMPS and other projects.

Another way to do it is to add this line to prime.txt:
MaxExponents=0 |

In prime.txt modify the DaysOfWork line.

I believe you can use
Advanced... Quit Gimps... ... Select Yes to complete the current assignment. |

"Quit GIMPS" is equivalent to NoMoreWork=1. Note that it does NOT remove your account on the server. You can always resume work.
