OK, it's very easy to change the color.
Maybe it needs to be a little darker pink.
Do you have a color suggestion ?
Do you think I should try the color FF69B4 ?

13^32 and 13^78 can be updated.

I'm on my way to turning all of base 13 pink this spring.

This is great news !
Many thanks.

I'm going to wait for a confirmation from Alexander about the possible pink color change before I do the next update to see what it will look like.

#FF69B4 has even less contrast (1.02:1) with the orange color for 120-139 digits, though technically that contrast is meant for text-background comparisons.

I actually went ahead and redid all of the table colors to bring the contrast with the blue link text up to a minimum of 4.5:1, to comply with WGAG Level AA accessibility guidelines. Here are my suggestions:

Orange: #fa0
Blue: #9bf
Green: #7c4
Yellow: #fe0
Pink: #f8f

In the attached file, you can see how it looks with these new colors. (I did not update.)
The contrast is indeed good except maybe between the new pink and the blue and between the new pink and the writings.
It seems to me that this pink is too "aggressive".
I think if I want to work on the tables for a long time with this pink, it would be less comfortable than with the current lighter pink.
I don't know if other people want to express themselves on these new colors ?
Alexander, do you really think I should leave this pink ?

I don't know why I didn't get an email about this. I'll look at it this afternoon. IIRC the reason I ended up changing the pink (the original had enough contrast between background and text) was because the yellow merge background wasn't showing up, but I'll look again later.

Sequences I've advanced to 140+ digits in the last two weeks:
13^78, 13^36, 13^76, 13^56, 13^72

Yeah, that "pink" was actually purple. Try #faa for pink and a slightly darker #ea0 for orange, as in this attachment.

Fantastic, thanks for all these calculations !
In the next few days, I will make an update that should be more substantial than the usual updates !

I prefer this color scheme to your previous proposal.
I will update with your last proposal.
Because I think your request is motivated by a desire to make the page more accessible to people who might have vision problems.
And I thank you Alexander for your concern about this problem.
Then we'll see if there are positive or negative reactions from other users of the page.
As for me, I must admit in all sincerity that personally I still have a slight preference for the lighter colors of the current page. Having said that, I think I can work for a long time without tiring my eyesight with your latest proposal.

As I said above, your original pink did have enough contrast with the text for accessibility purposes, but I had trouble distinguishing it from the primary (blue-gray?) page background, which was causing issues with my work keeping track of downdriver sequences (which involves checking every <120 digit sequence on the page every few days).

A lot of the standards-based work I did in my earlier rewrite of the page also helps with accessibility. While accessibility issues don't particularly affect me personally, I recognize the importance of following proper web standards regarding them. Now, I just need to fix my personal website's color scheme.
