I excluded TF, P-1 and ECM, but the above report returns TF-LMH and PM1-R work types. Is this the expected behaviour? |

The TF-LMH and PM1-R assignments would be recorded differently in the database, so it'd be down to what search string (or possibly function, depending on exactly how they are stored) was used in the SQL.

There are a grand total of 313 assignments (only 264 of which are still active) with those 2 work types. The PM1-R means "P minus 1 redo"... I'm not sure what or how assignments wind up with that particular work type, but I gather it's because the original P-1 work was poorly done? The TF-LMH, well, you probably knew that stood for "lone mersenne hunters". Again, I'm not sure how assignments like that are created in the first place or what their specific purpose is... There are so few of those, there's not a specific filter on the assignment page to exclude them although I think I could safely exclude PM1-R when PM1 is excluded, and TF-LMH when trial factoring is excluded... they're just special cases of each thing after all. I'll see if I can't work that up at some point later in the day. |

Correct, there are only 49 active assignments with those funky types, and 264 expired like that. |

http://www.mersenne.org/assignments/...&exp1=1&extf=1 That test page also includes my tweak to differentiate between unregistered users (currently listed under the bulk name "Anonymous") and users who have an account but set their display name to "Anonymous". My previous tweak for that was to set the registered-but-anonymous names to "-- Private --" but someone suggested going the other route and flipping the unregistered accounts. So I did that... assignments to unregistered people will now show "-- Unregistered --" for the name. If that change seems to make sense I can roll both changes out at some point. I won't stress about either of them since one is just a display thing for names, and the other only has 49 odd assignments out of however many thousands. ![]() |
