![]() ![]() I'll be taking everything down tomorrow for about 1 hour and no more than 2 hours to clean the carpets, dust, re-arrange and get everything organized in my computer room. It's almost summer time here and even with the 24/7/365 A/C, the sun beats on this wall all day long so want to get stuff out of here that doesn't need to be here to make sure I have the best air flo in and around the computers, routers, switches and other things, fix up the cat-5 rats nest... I'll fire it all back up once I'm done and we should be good to go for a long time. Probably start on it sometime around 8am (Arizona time) until I'm done. Don't anyone panic, your clients should get work as soon as the server comes back on line. Last fiddled with by IronBits on 2009-04-01 at 23:05 |

I agree with you Brucifer.
My wife yells at me when the computer room stuff "overflows" into the kitchen. Its got a nice big table and plenty of light so its very useful for building machines. My son and I can now build a cruncher and get the mess cleared out of the kitchen in the time from after school until my wife gets home from work through the Sydney traffic. Last one took 2 hours. She hasn't noticed the new addition in the computer room yet. Last time we cleaned the computer room two of the crunchers wouldn't re-start. Power supplies had died. My excuse is that it proved its too expensive in hardware to shut 'em down, clean and start 'em up again. ![]() |

Take it easy IB.
Thats called spring cleaning here in the UK. If the women folk found out that a man had attempted it, things wouldn't end well. :) |
