Default MM61 project suspended?

The MM61 website seems to be down. Does anyone know what happened to it, and when it will be back?

The whole of Tony Forbes' site at http://www.ltkz.demon.co.uk has been down for around a month and his demon account is gone. He expects to open a new site at another location but it may take a while. I don't know when or where, or what is happening with MM61.

The Wayback Machine has archived the site at http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://...kz.demon.co.uk

If he needs a place we have room on the forum's server here, and it would be free.

I was not aware of that site until now. How do they decide what to archive?

They have an FAQ; basically they crawl the web every 6 months and save everything website owners let them see. It's both immense and awesome.

PS: If you've wondered about the blurb under your username, compare side-by-side with mine. Methinks the hamsters are getting really subtle.

Tony Forbes' site including the MM61 project has reopened at http://anthony.d.forbes.googlepages.com/adf.htm
The old location is dead and does not link to the new.

The problem is that old DOS program with extender. Given that the new Windows versions have problems with these executables, the best way to get more people into the project is to convert it to a Win-32 console application, which is not difficult. Unfortunately I don't have time to do it.

This was just sent to the NMBRTHRY list:

Greetings all,

The web site which was at www.ltkz.demon.co.uk has been rebuilt at

http://anthony.d.forbes.googlepages.com/adf.htm

This includes the prime k-tuplets list and the MM61 project.

Apologies for the excessive delay in setting this up.

Sincerely,

-- Tony Forbes
