This 2013 NPR story might be of interest in that regard. Shorter and Chick Corea played together in Miles Davis's "lost quintet," so called because they never did a studio recording.

Ricou Browning

Chaim Topol

I never saw the movie. I heard he gave a good performance as Tevye. He had a tough act to follow. I saw Fiddler On Yhe Roof on stage, with Tevye portrayed by another actor - Zero Mostel.

I remember when that came out. I was a kid and liked it to the point I bought the 45. I suppose I played it too often, because my mother told me to stop playing it, saying it was "disrespectful".

Today we would say that she was being "politically correct", lol.
