Congratulations!
Could you attach the full msieve postprocessing log here? I'm interested in the memory use, matrix size, relation count, etc. Last time when doing this postprocessing crash, I draw a small diagram to visualize the filter process of msieve.

Amazing!
I'm curious what the chance of finding a p75 factor during the ECM stage was.

Indeed. Very nicely done.
Let's crowdsource some funds to buy a large memory machine to help Greg with the LA. Something like an HP840 with ~40 cores and 128G of memory should suffice. ( or perhaps even more memory) We might be able to buy such a refurbished machine for a good price. Although I am now retired, I will contribute to such a cause.

While Bob is not postprocessing for Greg he can enhance his software packages to include multithreads and other improvements. To advance the factoring community to infinity and beyond...

My dilemma since I’ve moved to UK is to justify buying a refurbished computer from the above site or by a new machine, I believe the latter would be the best option (higher investment cost but more energy efficient). My only concern is regarding maintenance, not sure which ones has the lowest cost. Last fiddled with by pinhodecarlos on 20191219 at 08:59
