I found and fixed this issue. The source is committed to sourceforce. I can post a new build if you want, but this bug has zero impact on results.

FYI, I am attempting to sieve to P=1e14 now (assuming my GPU VM doesn't get killed). Currently at:
Code:
p=64545564808217, 3.823M p/sec, 583 factors found at 1632 sec per factor (last 7199 min), 60.6% done. ETC 2022-01-28 11:33 Code:
$ wc -l *.txt 9466 smar2.txt 8883 smar3.txt 11107 smar.txt 13548 sm_in.txt |

Er, I dunno, I was just speaking in generalities.
In any case, the sieve to P=1e14 completed: Code:
p=99996904837223, 3.826M p/sec, 717 factors found at 3744 sec per factor (last 7199 min), 99.9% done. ETC 2022-01-28 08:55 Sieve completed at p=100000099057457. CPU time: 745822.11 sec. I've started sieving from 1e14 to 2e14, looks like it will finish around Feb 8.

1e14-2e14 found 179 factors, we are down to 8569 candidates. New factors and remaining candidates attached.

I have finished sieving from 2e14-6e14.
I am currently sieving from 6e14-8e14 (each range of 2e14 is taking about 20 days). Here is that current progress: p=663470593157233, 3.506M p/sec, 19 factors found at 50132 sec per factor (last 7199 min), 31.7% done. ETC 2022-04-08 16:36 That should finish on 4-08, and then I'll start sieving 8e14-1e15. That will be my last range since there are so few factors being found now. After sieving to 6e14 we're down to 8272 candidates. I'll post all factors found and the remaining candidates once I finish sieving to 1e15 (around the end of April). |

After sieving to 1e15, we are now down to 8158 candidate Sm(n), with 1e6 < n < 2e6.
I have attached the remaining candidates file and a factors file containing all known factors f, with 1e9 < f < 1e15. There were 6927 factors found for 5389 Sm(n) numbers. I do not plan to run any more sieving on this range. If anyone else would like to run additional sieving, please feel free to do so. I have set up a prpnet server to run prp tests on the remaining candidates. Each prp test takes a minimum of 16 days. If anyone is interested in committing to long prp computations on this project, let me know in this thread and I can post the prpnet details. Here is the end of the output from smsievecl: Code:
p=999990258846437, 3.441M p/sec, 61 factors found at 61035 sec per factor (las p=999997456614007, 3.441M p/sec, 61 factors found at 61035 sec per factor (last 7199 min), 100.0% done.
