The parameters below are aimed at maximising 105 plus. I have significantly lowered the smith_check levels at lower levels to encourage more candidates but tied higher levels to the average of the results of performance of all of Thomas11's 47 E58s which were 105 or plus. The level set is approx 5-6 primes behind that average for this supergroup. There is a huge leap in the barrier for n=500, and many more check points (14 now) before the last at 6000.

I am moving my 52,58,60 and 66 checks to this new standard

Timings for the new settings - the speed up in checking is about 250%.

Payamathlon E58: 340 payam per sec, equivalent to 3.26 days per iteration.
Payampentium E66: 205 payam per sec, 4.62 days per iteration
Payampentium E60: 247 payam per sec, 4.29 days per iteration

In 10 hours overnight found 3 VVPS including a 111/10000 and a 110/10000 on the 3 cores !!

This is just a short status report.

I'm now running PFGW on two cores for all 105+/10000 Sierpinski VPS reported by me (that's a little bit more than 200 sequences minus the ones already done by others) and will drive them to n=20000.
The automatism (payam output --> ksieve --> pfgw --> primes counting) works very well. Since ksieve is limited to a maximum number of 100 sequences in parallel, the sieving was done in three batches of about 75 candidates each. Sieving to p=600 mio took less than one hour per batch. So this is quite efficient (if compared to newpgen).

It should be noted that just for convenience I run the tests for the whole n=1-20000 range. So far (after about 50 sequences) I haven't found any discrepancies between the number of PRPs reported by payam and by pfgw.

I will post the full results (primes counts in the usual way) right after completion (around Monday or Tuesday next week). Depending on the outcome I will probably select about 20-30 candidates and drive them further (to n=30000 or even n=50000).

Yes, I'm still running payam on a few cores. However, the ratio between 105+ and <105 candidates has dropped significantly. There are only a few with 106 and 107 at n=10000. Hope, that this is only temporary...

So there are a lot of also useful candidates 116, 117, 118 and 119/20000 not highlighted in your posts that are worth checking to higher. The average of the top 17 Sierpinskis in the old drive averaged 118.8. These can easily get to 140/100000

But this is an amazing list of really super candidates. Can't fail to beat the racing records I think.

I will post my Riesel 105+ on Thursday. My count of 105+ has also dropped off a bit, but I did pick up a 112/10000 today.

I still think there is a 120/10000 out there within reach.

This is the latest list of 435 new Sierpinski VPS for E=52, 58, 60, 130, 138, and 148. This is the first time that there are no apparent duplicates. However, due to higher factors (for 19 of them) there are still 13 of them which are already known.

It is also due to higher factors that we found our first VPS for E=162:
