Default M344587487 poaching heats up

On a whim I've started PRP testing M344587487. Someone reserved it for LL testing 15 months ago when it was TF'd to 77 bits and without P-1. There's been no progress reported, I'm guessing it's abandoned. Huseyin CAKANLI if you're out there and haven't abandoned the exponent let me know. ETA is between 16 and 26 days as the card may be doing other tasks simultaneously.

Code:
amdcube@amdcube:~$ ~/prime/bin/gpuowl/v6.5-23-g108c254/gpuowl -dir ~/prime/run/M344587487 -prp 344587487

A thunderstorm led to a powercut today and there's no UPS. The test restarted fine from where it left off but to be safe I rolled back to a backup losing about 1% of progress:

When it will (most probably) turn out composite, will you change your forum user name?

I might add a tagline of "Yet another composite" or similar.

The spotty electricity supply around here is turning out to be a real pain in the rear. Stormy weather led to stuttery power at 4AM, not a power cut but either a slight pause or poor enough quality signal that the kernel probably panicked and I woke to a PC where the wheel's spinning but the hamster's dead. It happened a few hours before a manual backup but luckily a gpuowl checkpoint meant only a few million iterations were wasted. The working residues were probably fine but it's not worth the risk on a test this long.

That's okay, I can abuse the name field for a similar enough effect without bothering anyone.

You're just too cautious with the error checked Prp testing.
If after the restarting there is a passed error check (for the save file or at later iteration), then it is almost sure that the saved residue was valid, and you have still a good residue.

Fair enough. I treat power cuts as doomsday level corruption events which is perhaps over compensating.
