Default gmp-ecm: Which B1 to continue

Hello,

I'm not sure how to continue trial factoring with ecm if a prp and composite factor was found.
I was running all different B1 values with the required curves up to B1=110e6 on a C452. Than a factor was found which factored C452=P56*C396.

To factor the C396 should I start B1 again with B1=2k, 11k and so on or should I continue with B1=110e6?

kr,
yoyo

You should continue with B1=110e6 since you already have tested the remaining cofactor to the same limits.
