The list of composites with no known factors, http://factordb.com/listtype.php?t=3 has problems at 71 and 75 digits. wget gets:
Code:

N-1 Proof test has been delayed for several days (maybe it's a system error?):

http://www.factordb.com/index.php?id...00001362414421

"This number is already in queue for N-1-test."

The large N-1 factor can be found here.

Thanks to who knows what's going on.

BTW, How long would it take to prove a random 20,000 digit prime using N-1? I plan to enter one in the database soon I hope it won't stress out the system any more.

I'm looking for easy N-1 proofs these days, and i noticed this too. Maybe is giving priority in checking Primo certificates, if N-1 has a lot factors? Usually i see dozens of certificates in queue. (it's just a guess, i actually don't know how the db handles its queues).

The db has a quad core CPU and it is processing 4 certificates at a time, so yes, that's what's holding up the other checks (PRP, N-1, etc.)

A 1344-dd number that I certified Saturday has been stuck verifying for around 48 hours at this point.

(4386^689+2067^1462)/3^689/2705 (4515 digits) submitted by Masaki UKAI is also stuck.

And the load average earlier today was less than 1 so it doesn't look as if they are being processed.

Yes, that does seem to be a problem. Interestingly, if one queries the number just using its decimal expansion, then it shows up as prime.

This ID is for the expression (10^79-181)%(10^79-1)/9. Can you explain why such an expression was generated? 10^79-181 is less than 10^79-1, so the % operator doesn't actually do anything here. It's the same number as just (10^79-181)/9. Of course, if you query that expression, it shows up as prime.

I have no idea. it was the 'smallest composite without a factor' at the time.
