Are you still working on this range?
What progress did you make?
What program are you using?

With Factor5 you can test each number up to 60 bits in less than 90".

Moo, I would be interested in pre-factoring part of the 1000m-2000m range.

Where are you up to in this range?

I have a samprom 3000 with 256mb of ram, so while its slolw it should be good for part of this range, 100m or so.

I've got a gmail account which can handle up to 20mb attachments, so when the ranges are done where do I email them to.

I'm a complete noob to this forum, I tried posting a message over an hour ago but it hasn't shown up, so I thought I'd try the quick reply.

I've been testing my machine (sampron 3000) and found it takes over a minute to prefactor an exponent (1900-1901M) to 52 bits.

So unless the range 1900-1910M is taken, I will continue to prefactor this to 52 bits in 1M chunks.

Gmail only allows attachments of 20mb, so a results file with 1m exponents should compress to under this limit.

That is fine just continue on and you can use a file email service like yousendit to send larger files make sure you let Scott know.
Also if your using advanced factor make sure you turn off wellbehavedwork there are posts in this forum about the problems it causes.

Thanks for your reply. It should take my pc around a month for each 1M of factoring.I don't have any reference to WellBehavedWork in my prime.ini file, so it shouldn't be a problem. When you said to contact Scott, did you mean ET or HiddenWarrior?
