GMP-ECM GPU for WSL problems - Page 5

Could it be that my Linux kernel recently updated to 5.19 which is incompatible with CUDA 11.7? I am using CUDA 12.1 right now but is GMP-ECM even compatible with CUDA 12.1??

zypper is the openSUSE equivalent of apt (but the package format is different). Use whatever tool comes with Manjaro (if that's based on Debian Linux like Ubuntu it will be apt etc).

I got it working with the 5.3.18-59 kernel. But I found it would not work with the "preempt" kernel, I had to boot with the "default" kernel. I don't know why though or if that's been fixed.

But I'm running out of knowledge. I hope someone else will chime in, preferably someone who's a C programmer. Or try asking on the GMP-ECM forum where people who know more about GMP-ECM hang out.

Alright. I got it working the first time a few months ago, I'll see what I can try.

Unfortunately after some more days of trying I am no further progressed than I was a few days ago. I tried again with WSL/windows/visual studio/whatever I could think of but always hit a snag somewhere. I may have to give up which is annoying since I know I can compile it as I did it before but something is different this time and I don't know what it is. -.-
