Here we see a "prime" example why single precision is not good enough.

From my side:

My "secondary residence" (right in the center) - I officially still live at home (no detailed map available so far ).

Maybe we could exchange Google Earth placemarks?
That would make it much easier to identify the exact place...

Here is where I live: Ottawa, Canada

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=ottawa...5518&t=k&hl=en

I live in the area southwest of the airport.

The canal in the view of the map below which starts at the top left and goes to the bottom left is the Rideau Canal which in the winter time becomes the longest skating rink in the world. That entire visible stretch is the skating rink (7.8 km long) and you can go from one end to the other:

Here seems to be another glitch with the satellite data - it's somehow so blurry...

They must have done that on purpose, you can tell that the blur is just over those buildings. Maybe for legal reasons?

The blurred out building is the Congress. The White House is greyed out. I'm a little surprised the Pentagon in plainly visible at max resolution.

That's right - I "read" the Sunday User-friendly earlier this day.
I just realized that the resolution of the images in Washington is exceptionally good. When zooming in to the cars in the parking lot north-east of the Pentagon, you can even make out the windshields, so the resolution seems to be less than a meter, more like 50cm.

I tried it too, and I thought Google maps were good! I couldn't imagine the plus or pro version!

I haven't seen a big difference when using the pro version, to be honest. Ok, the "screenshots" are better, but is there another essential advantage?
