Critical bug in FFT multiply code A bug in the FFT multiply code that can cause miscomputation has been found. Until we can provide a fix, and until we have performed extensive further testing of the code, all users are urged to recompile GMP using the configure option --disable-fft. Luigi |

AFAIK
Prime95, mprime, seventeen-or-bust, proth, and generalized fermat search programs do not use the GMP library.
GMP-ECM does but is usually used on "small" numbers - where the GMP FFT bug shouldn't crop up? PFGW also uses the GMP library, but again only on small numbers. |
