Ecmnet client

I have Ubuntu and ecm-6.3 works really fine
But now i want to compile the ecmnet client and it doesn't work.
I always get this error:

cd /home/dercomputer/Desktop/ecmnet/source
then i type "make"
after some time i get this:
In file included from Mail.h:28,
from ecmserver.cpp:39:
DBInterface.h:28: fatal error: sql.h: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
compilation terminated.
make: *** [ecmserver.o] Fehler 1

please help me

If you only want the client, then use "make ecmclient" instead of make.

Note that the 3.x client will not work with 2.x servers, but 2.x clients will work with 3.x servers.

but i cant connect to any servers
first i get this:

gethostbyname: Connection timed out
gethostbyname(oddperfect.no-ip.com) generated error 110
gethostbyname: Connection timed out
gethostbyname(wblipp.dynu.com) generated error 110

is this because of the different versions of mine and the server or is it my fault?

for a short time i get work but then:

83.143.57.194:8194 is probably down, thus you could not connect to it.

As for "Permission denied", you need to change the execution privilege of ecm-6.3. Presuming you are not running on Windows, use chmod ala "chmod 755 /home/dercomputer/Desktop/ecm-6.3" then try again.

Can you ecmclient.cfg file and the output from "ls -al" in the directory that the client is run from?
