hi as you probably know I have a condition that's rare I was wondering if anybody else wanted to help figure out the likely genetics behind conditions if possible.

it has a lot of subtypes though. I'm a mild case. can we figure out using the odds what genetics are involved ? |

What I do know is that your question is likely to be unanswerable without much more careful phrasing. A rather contrived example: the a priori probability that you are human is less than unity. You may be a particularly good AI capable of fooling every Turing test yet performed on your postings. If this is in fact the case, the probability that "genetics" is behind your "condition" is zero. A more plausible example: if you are male, the likelihood of you having haemophilia is greater than if you are female. Paul |
