Yeah, that I did so. The penumbral shading of the moon was not visible at all, as I expected up, about it. Thus, the portion of the moon within the penumbra was as bright as full moon itself.

The umbral portion yesterday was very little, but being that tiny, it was visible up, though.

Should view up all the parts of a total lunar eclipse.
Partial lunar eclipse on 26.6.2010, total lunar eclipse on 21.12.2010
(both not being visible up from India at all)
The next total lunar eclipse that is being visible from India is only on
15.6.2011, followed up by that one on 10.12.2011
(both being visible up from India though)

Annular solar eclipse is coming up on 15.1.2010, should not miss it out at all, I have special solar eclipse glasses, though.
Total solar eclipse track that is coming upon 11.7.2010, falls entirely over the south Pacific Ocean, a place of no people at all. It is wasted up!
