I don't see practical any use for those D-Wave things ATM.
Perhaps one day when they (or anyone) have some real quantum computers, and can break kilobit numbers, then they'll have something interesting. |

Well, we can start googling about vacuum tubes and read few wiki articles about the computers of the 30's which had like 500 vacuum tubes and each 3 or 4 or 5 of them made one single bit of memory.... Then look now, 80 year later, us arguing here about terabytes of RAM...

We can laugh at those primitive old first-generation computers, but remember that five Mersenne primes were discovered in a bit more than eight months, in 1952.
