Are there any at all, that anyone has cared about for any length of time?
It is certainly possible for an odd number to become even (if it is not square free). Even 9 does so. It's less clear to me whether it's possible for it to become even on an increase, so without merging. EDIT: Of course, right after posting, I found this old thread.
