For some reason, Prime95 is loosing jumping back to 8% after a pause. Strangely, this only happens on the first thread, the second thread is unaffected.
For example [Apr 2 10:05] Iteration: 4100000 / 43738007 [9.37%]. Per iteration time: 0.100 sec. [Apr 2 10:16] Stopping primality test of M43738007 at iteration 4106126 [9.38%] [Apr 2 10:16] Worker stopped while on battery power. [Apr 2 10:16] AC power restored, restarting worker. [Apr 2 10:16] Resuming primality test of M43738007 using FFT length 2560K [Apr 2 10:16] Iteration: 3503314 / 43738007 [8.00%]. [Apr 2 10:27] Iteration: 3510000 / 43738007 [8.02%]. Per iteration time: 0.095 sec. |

I faced a similar problem before. Are you running Vista? If so, try switching off User Account Control.

What version are you using?
Perhaps the problem is related to #12 in http://www.mersenneforum.org/showpos...44&postcount=2 |
