If the rate of consumption stays the same as the 11:15 PM stats run of 5,000 pairs per hour...
120,000 pairs per day!
We currently have 346,069 pairs left on board... it's gonna be close

Sending n=400K-420K shortly.

Now I expect Free-DC to double ROLP's pairs with this rally. Come on, you guys better bring it or we're gonna be laughing!

BTW, a pair at n=90K tests 16 times as fast as a pair at n=360K. So if we had 100 cores on port 9000 at one point (I'm sure we did), we should be able to handle 1600 cores at this level, assuming no proxy servers.

At first, you were just wanting Free-DC to beat you, but now you want to change the rules that we have to DOUBLE your output???
Let's see what happens. I know Lauren is only at 1/4 steam, and I believe Beyond is only at about 1/2 steam, and we have others that can't get to their computers until late Saturday.
The server is not straining at all. Only hitting socket 10 occasionally with the average high being socket 8.
I'm sure we were hitting as high as socket 15 on those faster pairs

Rally Jan. 23rd-25th Free-DC Road Kill BBG Party

We haven't been able to waken the other sleeping beasts with heavy iron, so they many not show.

But, what we did bring will provide enough road kill to feed the winners :)

Not changing the rules, just throwing out the challenge. What I mean is we'll be laughing if you don't at least beat us. lol Double our pairs and we'll be humbled and jumping up and down all at the same time!

Good idea on the file. I still have effectively 2 quads plus 4 slower cores running other stuff...will be moved over to port 8000 early morning.

I Like the tent! Wish I had one so I could sleep out under the stars again.
It's been a very long time since I was able to get back to basics.

There will be lots of road kill to go around
