Default Terminating GIMPS membership

One member of our GIMPS group is intending to end his participation when his computer will have finished LL testing of his actual exponent.

This computer is the only one that isn't upgraded to prime95 version 25. It's still using v24. Since all v4 computers are merged to one v4 computer now, it represents all the credit our former v4 account accumulated (more than 7000 GHz days). I'm worried about what will happen if this computer's membership will have ended. How should I proceed to avoid a loss of our credit?

The problem is, I have no access to this computer. I cannot upgrade the software on this computer to version 25. That's why I could not finish completely the transit of all our computers from v4 to v5.

Thanks him for finishing his assignment. Simply have him delete his prime95 directory as soon as he has checked his final result in.

Then unreserve (or assign to other computers) any remaining v4_computers assignments. You won't lose credit for doing this.

No need to unreserve v4 assignments if he has other v4 computers working. In addition, if any assignments do get left over unfinished, they will expire so unreserving is not essential though recommended

ANYONE: Should there be or is there a GIMPS graveyard, or Garden for lost souls?

I'd actually be happy with a "Dropped CPUs" pseudo-computer on the Computer Details page already, summing up all the work done by those that are no more...
