Reserving MM31 = M2147483647
Ernst Mayer has taken MM31 to k = 10^15 that is to around ^81.83 bits I am reserving it for trial factoring beyond that. MM31 has 4 known factors since before, 295257526626031, 87054709261955177, 242557615644693265201 and 178021379228511215367151.
If anyone knows about if any trial factoring has been done beyond ^82 bits before for MM31 I would be happy to know that. My plans are to take it to at least ^86 bits. And While I am at it ;-), why not move these threads Fourth known factor of M(M31) (preliminary announcement) MM31 factoring to Operazione Doppi Mersennes Last fiddled with by aketilander on 2012-09-23 at 09:25 |
