I know a couple that work from home with multiple screens (each has 2 wide screens, and they have a spare on site). When the go on the road, they have plug in USB screens that they hook to their laptops as second screens.

Shockingly, this is still how some error coding reporting solutions work - see Step 5 and after here.

I can attest that this is actually true. I ran that sequence. Don't laugh - steps 2, 3 and 4 are precisely true.
