Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence. I almost certainly screwed up and I'll try to correct the tables tomorrow.

Thanks for the report.

There are numbers (relatively small) that have been reserved for over 9
months. In one instance, a quite small number has been reserved for
over 15 months!

Shouldn't these be released??????

Not sure whether Tom has seen this post yet. I'll give him a while and then contact him if needed.

On the face of it, it sounds like they should be released.

For cleanliness reasons I tend to agree. But then I have to wonder if it really matters. There are tons of available composites, and it doesn't really affect anybody if some are "off the market" (does it?)

In any case, I suspect Al has forgotten about his reservations. He hasn't posted in the forum in quite some time; but he did respond to PMs a few months ago, so you could probably just ask him about them. As for the longest reservation, I have no idea. It should be about a 1-day job at this point.

I am willing to rely on peoples' natural propensity to poach at this stage; it's not as if there's a shortage of numbers.

I am the scofflaw-in-chief as to the statutes prohibiting gratuitously long reservation times.

I have blown the dust off a couple of motherboards and replaced some fans with sodomized bearings. Will be seiving starting tonight.

Glad to hear that the infamous bolt pistol device is fully functional.

I sent the following factor of 5^338 + 2^338 to you by email several

Unfortunately not. The last I have from you was for 7+3,289 back in late March.

I'll update the tables with that one. My ISP is now accepting ftp uploads again.

Paul
P.S. Now uploaded. I guessed it was found by ECM but it it's wrong let me know and I'll correct it on the next update.
