Hi,
I am running Prime95 64-bit 25.7 Build 4 on Windows Vista 64-bit. I have allocated 2 workers: one is doing a P-1 factoring and the other is doing an LL test. Daytime memory=8MB Nighttime memory=1024MB. The problem is that during daytime, worker 1 complains of not having enough memory - it alternates trying P-1 factoring, says not enough memory, then tries doing the LL test for that number and fails saying that other processes are using too much memory or something like that. Worker 2 continues the LL test. How do I get both workers to do LL testing during daytime? Regards, Azhad. Last fiddled with by azhad on 2008-11-13 at 21:01 |

Maybe 8MB isn't enough memory for two LLs. Try doubling it to 16MB or more.

The meory limits only concern P-1 stage 2 factoring and ECM (stage 2 ?).
If indeed worker #1 tries to start LL testing and fails because of no memory it is definetly a bug. Prime95 v25 is still buggy about memory allocation (the 64 bits version refuses to work with more 1700 MB...) Jacob |

I'll try to reproduce the problem when I return from vacation.
