Funny I just now saw that right before I checked the forum because you've been working in that area. I came on to tell you to finish it. That was a hell of a split of the C148 into P48-P101.

These sequences never fail to amuse me:

199^57 terminates !

This thing looked very tough at I-3 and 128/128 with a known hard cofactor and a factor of 3. 4+ hours to split the C128 and it terminates ~5 minutes later! Just 7 more iterations with the factor 3 were taken care of almost exclusively by ECM before it dropped the 3 and fell into what appeared to be a tough C125 with no small factors at all, which wouldn't be bad...only ~3 more hours to split that and it would be mostly over. But one final stroke of luck towards the end of the ECM cycle came and the split came with a P38-P88 dropping it to size 88 and it was over.

That's my crazy story and I'm sticking to it.

229^57 started at the same time on a separate but exactly the same kind of machine at 127/126 and it's only at 125/117 now.

229^57 terminates

Caught a bit of luck on this one too. I had expected both of the last two to take ~18-24 hours.
