An Arlington, TX "conservative activist" named Kelly Canon recently celebrated having received a religious exemption from taking the jab. She attended an anti-vaxxer "symposium."

After ahe died on Monday, the Arlington Republican Party posted a statement on Facebook (which apparently has since been taken down),

Another tragedy and loss for our Republican family. Our dear friend Kelly Canon lost her battle with pneumonia today.

4 Arkansas inmates sue jail, doctor for receiving ivermectin

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Four inmates at a northwest Arkansas jail sued the facility and its doctor Thursday after they said were unknowingly prescribed ivermectin to treat COVID-19 despite health officials' warnings that the anti-parasitic drug shouldn't be used for that purpose.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Arkansas filed the lawsuit in federal court on behalf of the detainees against the Washington County jail, Washington County Sheriff Tim Helder and Dr. Robert Karas. Helder in August revealed that ivermectin had been prescribed to inmates to treat their COVID-19.

The state Medical Board has been investigating complaints against Karas over the jail's use of ivermectin, and is expected to discuss the investigation at its February meeting.

In a September letter sent by his attorney, Karas told a Medical Board investigator that 254 inmates at the jail had been treated with ivermectin.

In the letter, Karas said the information given to inmates about ivermectin depended on who was administering it and that paramedics had not been given "required counseling details" to discuss with inmates about the drug. Karas said the process had since been improved.

The four inmates suffered side effects from taking the drug including vision issues, diarrhea and stomach cramps, according to the lawsuit.

Please forgive me for this, but...

One of the *many* dimensions used to analyze doing business with the "US of A" (or any business partner) by many people is the very litigious nature of the systems involved. It can be a bit of a mine field. This can be managed, of course. But only at a cost.

Sometimes it is simply easier to not work with some systems. Even if one's dollar is currently tied to same.

A little step sideways if I may. The hospital in my community has started posting exact numbers of their COVID patients daily. What is there is scary and radicicolous at the same time. Latest numbers: 161 unvaccinated. 2 vaccinated. What in blazes is wrong with people? Are they that stupid? I guess they think it is acceptable behavior to go around infecting other people. They think it is an infringement on their civil right to get vaccinated. I just do not get it!

IMO they've been brainwashed. BTW, Fox News had been broadcasting for about 25 years. I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

Brainwashing can make intelligent people act as though they were stupid.
