Put one of them in your worktodo.ini and run it for a few minutes and then ask Prime95 for a status report...

A 3GHz P4 with 2GB of RAM can do one of these in about an hour...

oops i guess i must have missed that. is it ok if i keep the first 50 or should i just pick up a smaller set from the other thread?

ive got another question. Ive dedicated 330 megs of memory for prime95 and when it does p-1 its only using about 120megs. its running with b1=55000. Is there some special threshold on memory so that it'll pick a higher b1?

i guess i should have tried this out before i actually committed to it. its thrashing my system a lot. (using like 400megs of ram) so i guess im just checking in these results and im giving up whatever others I "signed up" for.

ok,

I'll claim the remainder.

I have a 2.8GHz P4 with HT enabled. On one virtual processor I have a 20M LL and the other is doing the P-1 factoring of the above. According to status they should be completed by Thursday arvo local time (about 36hrs from this post).

Any specific reason why the numbers above needs P-1?

ok,

I did a bit of RTFM (or should I say reading previous posts), no need to answer that question :)
