I definitely was not paid, but neither for many of other efforts of other users.

Here's a good way to say it: "Every effort is valued. And recorded, but not paid unless it's a Mersenne Prime." because this is a voluntary exercise not mandatory, perhaps this explains part of the recent slowdowns of the milestone progressions of the first time PRP tests. Used to be +1 million per month during early year 2020.

Even the "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" TV show had increased the jackpot paid-out after certain amount of dry-spell months when no lucky winners have passed the Millionaire dollar question challenge.

The base paid-out amount of discovering a new Mersenne Prime if lower than 100M digits is $3,000. If the formula adds extra $10 everyday after the 1,331 dry spell mark until the next discovery, it will still only increase by $3,650 per year. The administrator can definitely set a ceiling of $50,000 which will take more than 1 decade to reach there. A large moving dollar clock on the homepage will usually attract more participants.

I still feel like the rarity of the future Mersenne Prime should be involved in the final paid-out amount of the next surprise. If 1 year and 3 months is not a small amount of time, that means many users have put in lots of precious efforts into the stake.

The "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" TV show has been the top favorite for many viewers, part of the reason was that the jackpot has increased as the gap grows larger until a very lucky winner who takes all.

Completely irrelevant. A paid, sponsored, TV show with a large audience watching ads, is a whole world away from a volunteer effort, that has no sponsorship, and no ads.

Where do you think the money comes from? Are you willing to put your money into the pot to pay out the extra that you suggest?

I guess I don't totally understand how this system functioning. Why the payout of M37156667 was much higher back then?

Perhaps I was mistakenly thinking that Ben Delo has been the sponsor and in charge of that pot. If he finds a new Mersenne Prime, then he takes all back.

No, I don't have that much money to play as the host.

Fun story: I wanted for a very long time to test all exponents with 666 in them, but never moved my ass to really do it. This was BEFORE discovering of M45 (in fact, before M47, which was discovered first) and if I would have done it, I would be now famous and 50 thousand bucks richer.

Maybe because of this?

That's been evident since day 1, and with almost every post you make.

Please do not introduce new terms or mangle the accepted ones. Spend more time learning, less time lowering the signal to noise level drastically. Read and learn more, post much less. https://mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=24607 is one possibility. Posts from the software authors and server operators and certain individuals with solid number theory background are generally of high quality and informative.

You seem to have a strange fascination with Ben Delo.

He's one guy, who contributed a LOT of compute cycles, but he does not personally fund the project or the winnings.

It's unclear how few human languages you believe I've used. What do you suppose the average for participants here is?

I appreciate all that post in this forum's default language, English, despite it not being their native tongue.

IIRC it is tuckerkao's native language.
And I carefully worded my post more gently than an abrupt RTFM.

https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=wavefront&ia=web seems to match up with what his usage of frontwave was.

https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=frontwave&ia=web returns place or firm names, in the first dozens I skimmed through (as do wikipedia and Google search), and none corresponding to the meanings of wavefront. So it appears not to be a synonym.
If you have handy a link that shows otherwise, please share.

"frontwave" seems an even worse word choice than trine, which drew a response from a moderator for being obscure. Such feedback produces adjustments to reference info such as the glossary, guidance, etc.

I did not say native language, nor number of languages used. Reread my post without your personal bias, just the words that I actually used. And pointing to your glossary is tantamount to
