November seems to be our lucky month. Of the 6 mersenne primes found by GIMPS (assuming M40 not composite), 3 were in November.

George, how about next time not leaving the exponent completely out of the server results file, AND out of the found factors file, while exponents in its range are in both?

Could just be a reporter is a GIMPS member. This has been news before, so it's not like it's just poping out into the universe like a 4 quark meson. :) :)
