Well, I'm 8 hours behind UTC, so my predicted time for curtisc's creation in UTC was July 6, 1998 at 1 am. So I'm about 14 hours off the mark; an error of about 0.019%.

Xyzzy, does this mean you are able to look at all individual account reports?

We're not sure.

A long time ago, when he was overtaking Team Prime Rib for first place, we asked him for his account report so we would know how many computers he had and how they were being utilized. We even had a cron job set up to slurp his account report hourly so we could chart trends and stuff. Unfortunately, no amount of analyzing could stop him from passing us like a freight train.

I was out by three days. I thought I might be out by a day, since i didn't allow for time zones and so on, but three days is too big to be rounding error. However I did allow for leap years, which would account for two days difference.

Now Curtis Cooper has passed 300,000 P90 CPU hrs/day average (I know I'm late, possibly by a few days, in pointing this out). This is not surprising, because his current speed is several times higher than that; about 1,081,000 P90 CPU hrs/day over the last 90 days, according to data from TPR's website.

Curtis Cooper is running over 130x faster than me. I wonder how long it would take to overcome his lead if I got every single computer at OSU running Prime95.

Unfortunately here this basis is neither regular, nor short. I.e. it takes often a very long time between an upgrade and the other... Actually I think we've jumped from the abacus, to Intel 4004® (btw: do you know it was an Italian researcher, Federico Faggin, the "co-father" of the first commercial chip?), to Intel Pentium® 133... ... Still waiting for the next "leap haed"

Now he has reached 36,000 LL tests. Still well below TPR's 58,939 though.

That is because he does not run double checks.
