Post INSTANT Pfgw change

I just wanted to report a change right now as I was using PFGW. The PRP base changed from 3 to 8 as here is within a minute and I do

9*2^134+1 is 3-PRP! (0.0052s+0.1856s)

a few seconds later:

9*2^134+1 is 8-PRP! (0.0056s+0.2035s)

I did not change anything as I accidentally PRP tested this number twice. Was there a sudden error in the code? Someone please look it to this to see if this is the case for most people.

You didn't say which version you were using.
3.7.10 64 bit for windows with flag -tm

Primality testing 9*2^134+1 [N-1, Brillhart-Lehmer-Selfridge]
Running N-1 test using base 5
9*2^134+1 is prime! (0.0225s+0.4938s)

I am using the latest version:

I tried to default the settings, but something is wrong (here is a much larger example)

I saw this on both versions earlier today:

8*131^655+1 is 3-PRP! (0.0117s+0.2457s)

And just now:

8*131^655+1 is 8-PRP! (0.0607s+0.3638s)

The N+/-1 tests work fine as shown here:

Output logging to file pfgw.out
Primality testing 8*131^655+1 [N-1, Brillhart-Lehmer-Selfridge]
Running N-1 test using base 3
8*131^655+1 is prime! (0.1039s+0.0083s)

Done.

Nothing wrong there (or with the helper files).

I have other results like:

177*2^4756+1 is 3-PRP! (0.0376s+0.1796s)

Was:

177*2^4756+1 is 23-PRP! (0.0376s+0.1796s)

and for a second I don't know why

Anyway, the point now I want to make is why are all the prp bases switching (just stick to 3, then 8, now 23), what next?
