Prompted by Bob Silverman's call for institutes of higher education, I'm starting a reading list for self-study. The list of works below are old favourites and should be in everyone's library. Further additions welcome.

Close to the Edge by Eileen Dover.

Those must be the US editions. The versions I knew as a youth had "Flung Dung Hi" as co-author on the first.

I also knew Fifty Days on a Camel, by Major Bumsore.
