Okay, we'll be sure to let you know.

What you might want to give some consideration to, though, is the possibility of having us start up a personal server for you. That way, your machines won't be putting a load on any of our servers, which might come in handy next rally. (And if Adam answers affirmatively to my question a few posts up about inserting results from other servers into his stats, we'd even be able to include it in the port 300 stats, too.)

I just need a CSV text file containing the following: Code: "k","n","username","date","time","result","server","team" "427","315201","AES","2/25/2008 11:34 AM","153","C2A0B37C71FF9A91","AES-NPLB","-" "459","315201","AES","2/25/2008 11:36 AM","149","48B9AA80A03DC7AC","AES-NPLB","-" "535","315201","AES","2/25/2008 11:39 AM","152","09315B3005762F2B","AES-NPLB","-" "549","315201","AES","2/25/2008 11:41 AM","151","7F0255F5BDA40A58","AES-NPLB","-"

Okay, cool. I'm sure I can modify one of my existing Perl scripts rather quickly to do the conversion...

Oh, and thanks for getting the server "fixed"!

(P.S.: Bruce, you can go ahead put your machines back on port 300 now. )

Okay, I've got the script working, and have now successfully produced a file containing the complete results for server IB5000 to date, in the necessary format to be imported into the port 300 server stats!

The format is just like Adam specified, like this:
Code:
"k","n","username","date","time","residual","servername","team"
"313","455743","Anonymous","04/04/08 23:22:27","100","C7E98C31A059E5F6","IB5000","-"
For now at least, the value for "time" is a dummy value of "100", though this shouldn't affect things since that value is pretty much irreleveant anyway for the most part.

Adam, I'll send you the big file containing all the IB5000 results in the proper format shortly. If that works well, then I'll do the same thing for all the other servers.

Anon, I have about 15-20 unsent port 300 results from the rally. What I'll do is run port 300 to only send them and do nothing else. I'll send them within a very specific and small time frame where I'm NOT running port 300 on anything else. That way, you will know which results should be counted in the rally. More than an hour after sending them, I'll then switch 4 cores over to port 300 for regular processing. Gary

Gary,

Unfortunately, it's extremely tricky to dig out individual results from the results files and try to specifically count them as part of the rally--since the server only keeps track of when the k/n pair was sent to the server, not when it was actually completed, the best we'll be able to manage is to count all the k/n pairs from the actual rally timeframe. Since it's only 15-20 k/n pairs you've got that you're submitting late, though, I wouldn't sweat it. (Especially considering how even if they had been assigned at the last moment before port 300 went down, they would still be pushing the 3-day deadline by now--so, quite likely, a number of them may end in the rejected bin anyway if they have already been re-crunched by someone else by now.)
