It didn't improve the score, but the skew is less (but cownoise gave it the larger value):

A great find! Beats your previous record for a c203.

Thanks to all who searched.

Nice Gimarel! And, in all my efforts I haven't as yet found (or spun) a 2-handle! (I know, I haven't modified Mseive. . .)

Meanwhile in the C190 poly search requested by @unconnected in post 2253 above: I found nothing better. Can’t seem to break the 2 barrier!

Afraid my search for a quality polynomial is in vain.

Thank you guys for your work, I'll test-sieve top polys and send the best one to the 15e queue.

If anyone is willing, I have a C208 that has blocked progression of Home Primes Base 2 (4496) for at least 3 years now. I previously did some poly searching for degree 5 and 6 (and even some test sieving, as I recall), but this number would likely benefit from the collective skills here. I will try and dig up that previous work in the mean time, but I would appreciate any attempts to find good polys for:

Code:
8095101662371927421703337019465587498085337648622133688278589711654019359923503887978141510461468343349838217540569173400647791769725685803537804186347867144149599002247585690859122186539724272741806859085719

Default C208

I’m willing to help. I believe a deg 5 still works best on a C208 but others will likely have deeper insights. We could search for both a deg 5 and 6, with subsequent test sieving deciding the issue.

From the GNFS record table, escore > 1.3e-15 looks great for deg 5, and > 1.6e-15 for deg 6.

Regardless, starting deg 5 search with a5 < 1M using msieve-GPU.
