Today I was looking for this post, because I wanted to know where to look to see if a new prime was found and not noticed. And I noticed this:
Have a look at the PrimeNet Top Lucas-Lehmer Producers report (2017-11-10 05:00 UTC). Rank #4 (user ID Xolotl): Attempts:2430, successes: 6. What is a "success" supposed to mean, in this context, six new mersenne primes? As far as I could see (s)he is the only one with a "success" recorded. Of course this has to be some kind of joke? The user doesn't seem to have exponents with 0000... residues. |

Maybe lower his successes to 0 ? Now that he stopped turning in bad results it should stay at 0 this time.
