"factoring" vs "factorizing"

I've noticed that "factoring" and "factorization" are often used interchangeably. However, is there any difference in semantics? I'm under the impression that "factoring" often refers to just finding a factor, while "factorizating" means finding all the factors.

Am I correct? Or is there no difference?

Just adding factorising into the mix.

Yes, when used as nouns, but "factoring" can also be a verb. As in "NFS@Home was factoring M1061".

I would say no difference. I use factoring for both meanings (and more often for the meaning you ascribe to "factorizating").

Yes there is no difference between factoring and factorizing. Both have same meaning.
