Meh. Read the seminal threads for the creation of the major GPU applications' development. Some of those are nearly 3000 or 3500 posts each. Take notes with urls for later reference. Reread about annually in the first few years of GPU computing.

Thank you. I was well ****ed off when I read the comment from Uncwilly. I thought the thread was suppose to be a bit of fun. There are of course umpteen references to the number of computers people own, the amount of heat generated, and the electricity cost. There's another about grow house, and this being detected by the electricity company. Well here, when people take over somewhere and grow weed, then normally fiddle the electric, so that's often hard to detect. Thermal imaging detects the heat, even if the metered electricity is low.

I thought the comment was rather personal. I think had anyone else written the exact same words, nothing would have been said.

Several things went through my mind after reading the comment from Uncwilly,

1. pkill -9 mprime and leave this project.
2. Finish exponents I'm doing (I submitted two earlier today, and a third will finish in 15 minutes), then leave.
3. PM Uncwilly and ask why was the comment made. It seemed rather childish.
4. Eventually I decided to ignore the comment, and carry on.

I friend of mine introduced me to Rollin' Wild yesterday. Finally had a chance to view this evening.

I had never heard of this team before, but their output is quite amusing. A particularly liked The Chase, Rollin' France, and The Waterhole.

Apparently, they did the initial videos over a single session at a conference. Just to prove it was possible.

The seems to be inspired by the joke "This theory assumes all cows are spherical...
