We have been trying to figure out this for a very long time but we have not made any progress.
We like to view our web browser in two windows, side-by-side. We want to lock these two windows together, so that opening either one brings up both. We have attached a picture of how we have it set up right now, which isn't locked. ![]() |

Does your window manager have the concept of multiple desktops? The two browser windows can be as you like on one desktop with everything else on one or more other desktops. Alt-tabbing to either browser window should switch to the entire desktop laid out as you left it with the chosen window in focus.

Found by googling for Chrome:
https://youtu.be/GFHl98nAV04 https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...pglffmfdiilejc Also I recall that it was easy to program (drag & drop) your own browser in visual-c++. Perhaps it still is. ETA: That is a very SCARY-HEADLINE. Last fiddled with by a1call on 2021-10-09 at 17:09 |

After upgrading to Windows 11, I noticed that after adjusting browser windows next to each other, they can be viewed either individually or as a group from the taskbar so that one can minimize the group or restore the group on the screen at once.
