I found a huge perfect number where I can look at past results. Is there any bonus for perfect numbers?

All of the Mersenne Primes have an associated perfect number that we get for free.
https://primes.utm.edu/mersenne/index.html#theorems You can see the list here: https://www.mersenne.org/primes/ |

![]() If it is not a Mersenne prime, please tell us what it is and we can best advise you where it might be put. The bonus for a Mersenne prime is some prize money and world fame. Last fiddled with by paulunderwood on 2022-06-21 at 23:56 |

At the moment, the largest known perfect number (unless yours is bigger) is 2^165179865-2^82589932=2^82589932*M82589933.

Anyone that has really found a new perfect number won't be posting here asking where to find previous ones.
It is no trivial matter to find a new one. I can't believe someone with such skills has no knowledge of what has already been done. |
