Luigi,
On your site where can I see the available ranges for GMP-Fermat? I can see the most wanted ranges but I can't see where I can find a clear status of the ranges processed so far. Can I have your support to understand this? Thank you. Last fiddled with by pinhodecarlos on 2016-11-07 at 21:27 |

![]() Long answer: as it is (quite!) hard to force people to reserve ranges all in the same way (single Ns up to 99, tens of Ns up to 999, hundreds of Ns up to 9999 and so on), I created different pages to have different views of the status: N factoring limits gives the idea of "how the status should be if the reservations were taaken correctly" and is 99% coherent for most uses. A couple of researchers required a N (or a small range of Ns) to do a deep search: such ranges are usually declined when you ask for them. If a range has not yet been taken, it's available. Just be assured that some researcher is steadily tightened up to a particular N or anges of N, and a request for reservation of such ranges could be declined. New range search lets you select the N and its associated work. Again, some ranges look missing, just because they were taken in clusters. A deep check is done every 2-3 months to ensure thar no holes creep through the ranges Work done is a list of the ranges actually completed with FermatSearch. Merge tables is a list of all the ranges in FermatSearrch, both completed and reserved. Last fiddled with by ET_ on 2016-11-08 at 10:11 |
