i1682 yielded a P34.
i1683 is c155, I'm nearly done with a t40. If someone would like to finish ECM this weekend, be my guest. I'll leave a single thread on ECM until I hear otherwise.

I’ll run t45 and then t50 if you could finish t40.

I finished a t40 and a just over a third of a t45. I'm not particularly interested in cracking this nut myself so I shall cease.

I did 300 curves at 20e6; I think if I were you, I'd stop just before t50 (maybe 80% of a t50).

I'm open to CADOing after you finish ECM; I have enough CADO-cores to sieve it in 3-4 days, though the LA will also take 3-4 days.

t45 complete, now working t50. Almost 1000 curves complete. Should be done by Tuesday.

A p44 was found. Now a C192 at i1685. Bowing out.

I would like to suggest that we consider dropping this sequence. Of the four sequences currently reserved to MF, I consider it the least interesting, and it also has a tough driver to go with the relative lack of interest. We can refocus attention on the other three.

I suppose that, in the long term, it doesn't really matter that much, but I thought I'd throw it out there at least.

As Serge said many posts ago, it will do nothing interesting for few hundreds of terms.
The "2*3", although not fast growing, it it freaking persistent... When many other sequences will reach 200 digits, or C190+ cofactors, we can re-consider it.

I did half a t45 on the c192 at i1685. I'll finish the t45 using B1=60M before letting this go.
192 is within reason for 15e queue and the matrix can be solved by Sean or I, but I understand the point that this sequence has lost hope for interesting progress.

I remember Serge writing this. I’m ignorant of aliquot theory - any idea on how many iterations would be required before 3408 turns? 150 or more like 800? Just curious.

Regardless, I’m all for ignoring this series for now. High ECM gets tiresome very quickly.
