Yes 33-bit was my guess too. Very big job for 15e but feasible I think. My test sieving should clarify things for the gatekeepers. I'll post the results tomorrow over on the Fast Breeding thread.

I managed to move this sequence to i1671, now stuck at C180. ECM'd it to t40 only.
Releasing. |

Now a C197 blocker after VBCurtis did some work. I ran some cursory ECM (t30) but found nothing.
Sequence 3408 released. |

Edit: I have CADO running on a public-accessible server. If anyone would like to try being a client for the factorization, I may be able to add your IP to the whitelist live while the factorization runs (I haven't tried this yet). PM me tonight and I'll send server and port info. I expect sieving to take roughly 30 hrs, finishing around midnight USA-Pacific time Thursday night. Workunits are quite small, blocks of 10k Q on 13e, and you can cancel anytime without upsetting anything in the factorization (the server will even send your unfinished block to another client after an hour or so). I am very pleased to report that RichD took me up on the CADO client. He got the CADO package built in under an hour, sent me his IP(v4), and after adding his IP to the whitelist and restarting the CADO project server, he is connected and contributing work.
For those who have continued interest in 3408 and 3366, future work on these can be done on this server, with clients shared by prior arrangement simply by sending me your IP address, and I'll send you the address and port I'll be using for any CADO work that's public-facing. Poly select and sieve are distributed simply, while the matrix is solved on the server alone (an 8-core Xeon of the core2 era, with 24 or 32GB). With a bit of assistance from Rich and Sean, we should be able to knock out sub-185 digit blockers limited mostly by the time the matrix takes! |

The 140 is cracked and reported to FactorDB. 25 hrs wall-clock time on CADO.
Next blocker is C165 on i1677; I've only done 15 min of ECM so far, am doing t35 and t40 this evening. |

i1679 with c166 presently. I've run something near a t35 so far, running single-threaded ECM overnight at t45 level. ECM help welcomed.
