I've no idea how residue files interact with the python script, but one file is just fine; the residue is simple text and contains info about the bound, so collecting multiple machine-outputs however you wish will be fine.
I'll still do my 300 at 85e7 and 100 at 29e8, and then as many stage 2 runs as you send me. I can do 40+ a day on my home machine; the rest of my big-memory machines are on campus, less convenient. If you could send a first batch of 100 or 200, I can get started while you generate the rest. p.s. my email is my forum name at gmail. Last fiddled with by VBCurtis on 2016-10-28 at 04:21 |

I have sent the first set (only 31) to see if I have this right.
Thanks. |

Stage 2 running fine. i5 Haswell at 3.1Ghz reports 1280 sec at default B2, 1670 sec when B2 increased 50%. Three curves ran at default B2 = 105e12, the rest are at B2 = 157e12. Peak memory usage reported at 11GB, though Windows' task manager reported 9600MB on this 12GB system.

Is anyone still working on this sequence? How much ECM to date?

Ed and I are nearly complete with 3000 curves at 29e8, the last step of the list of curves recommended by the Bayesian-tool. Ed did the 850M curves on his own, and did all the stage 1 for the batch of 3000; I have about 400 stage2's left to finish by Monday or Tuesday.
In other words, it's ready for poly select. |

Anybody running poly selection on this? I've no usable GPU, so can't help.

Could you please post a couple of good polys for comparison? |

This is the best of the worst. It seems like I am getting better results in the lower range so I will take 3M-4M next.

My poly is a bit worse by MurphyE (I didn't do the sieving): Code:
Msieve v. 1.52 (SVN 958) R0: -10366204263169170624064819000092190451 R1: 3167003643638871221159 A0: 364867283064987729988646535096809590969646190 A1: 59920712473981816141695058062064723417 A2: -3581575424865665716907386475138 A3: -226742704019895008285245 A4: 2873308361106616 A5: 1968960 skew 48662842.43, size 7.710e-019, alpha -6.761, combined = 1.448e-014 |

A slightly better one. It appears no one else is working on this so I will take 2M-3M next,
Code:
