Lost avatars.

Post here if the system has lost your avatar, or if you see another user's avatar is missing. We have them backed up and can restore them, but we are unwilling to manually look at all 4000+ accounts.

For the curious:

The loss occured because we did a mass "reindexing" of the avatars. Some avatars were labeled as .gif when in fact they were .jpg, and the other way around. We think around 10 avatars were affected.

Spotting the lost avatars should be pretty easy. They have been replaced by a huge picture of a family of trolls.

Here is a sample of what we are dealing with:

My avatar disappeared!! I last saw it on Saturday, today it's gone, It was the picture of a jiving rat, Somebody must of fed him rat poison.

Give us a minute to find him.

Edit: You really don't want to know what he was doing. Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly as soon as possible.

The weird thing is they show up in the file system and are associated with the right account, but they don't display. All we have to do is "reload" them.

We're sure this has something to do with last night, but anything past 9PM is lost to us.

Edit: Aha! This we can fix. Hang on. Those damn gerbils...
