Who here called their Mother thanking them?
Edit... Sorry... Some mothers are long passed. So a call is not an option. But, perhaps, saying something nice would be cathartic for the spawn. Last fiddled with by chalsall on 2022-05-08 at 21:40 |

On the first Mother's Day without her, I put a small portion of her ashes in a neighbor's garden she was fond of (with their approval). My sisters and I scattered small portions of her ashes in other nearby places.
On Mother's Day 2022, I put small portions of my mother's ashes in my own garden beds and in the prairie patch in progress in my back yard. One of my sisters was on hand to dig them in a bit with a trowel. Happy Mother's day, Mom! When my mother was still alive and I was caring for her, I was talking to a neighbor about the experience, and he said, "You will only ever have one mother."
